Kazakhstan expects to win at least 3 gold medals at London Olympics

ASTANA. April 17. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan expects to win at least 3 gold medals at 2012 London Olympic Games, Chairman of Kazakh Sport and Physical Culture Agency Telgat Ermegiyaev said at the Government's sitting on Tuesday.
"Our athletes must successfully perform at the Olympics and show results higher than at the previous Olympic Games in Beijing - to win at least three gold medals, against two won in Beijing. Totally it is planned to win over 13 medals," he said.
According to Ermegiyaev, today 74 athletes from sixteen sports won the right to participate in the Olympics. In general, till the end of the license period it is planned to get more than a hundred licenses in 25 sports.
