Kazakhstan, EU ready to expand mutually beneficial cooperation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today, Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev has met with Head of the European Union Delegation to Kazakhstan Aurélia Bouchez and representatives of diplomatic missions of 19 European countries.

At the meeting in Astana, the Vice Premier made a presentation of the basic guidelines of formation and functioning of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Kazinform has learned from primeminister.kz. Participants of the meeting also exchanged views on the development of the Eurasian Economic Union, creation of the EEU Court, formation of common markets, ratification of the Treaty of the EEU, accession of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to the EEU and possible cooperation between the EU and EEU. In conclusion, the sides noted that Kazakhstan and the EU are strategic partners and expressed readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
