Kazakhstan equalizes penalties for violation of technical regulations with Russia and Belarus
ASTANA. March 7. KAZINFORM Penalty rates for violation of law on technical regulations will correspond to the Russian and Belarusian ones, Kazakh Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev told presenting the bill on amendments to Kazakhstan legal acts on the issues of technical regulations and metrology at a plenary meeting in the Majilis.
Speaking with journalists the Kazakh Minister explained that presently penalty rates for violation of law on technical regulations are minor. According to the amendments, penalties for the natural entities will be 30 minimum calculator indexes (MCI), for legal entities - 50 MCI and for big companies -100-200 MCI that correspond with penalty rates of Russia and Belarus.
A. Issekeshev noted that Russia is planning to increase penalties, so Kazakhstan can do it as well.
