Kazakhstan down in 2015 Winter Universiade overall standings

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan is ranked third in the overall standings at the 2015 Winter Universiade held in Spain and Slovakia after Day 5, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
Leader of the overall standings Russia collected 9 gold, 9 silver and 10 bronze medals. Poland is second with 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Team Kazakhstan hauled 2 gold and 1 silver medals.
Biathlete Alina Raikova and skier Anastasia Slonova won gold apiece on Day 1. Afterwards, Slonova clinched silver in women's ski race event at the Universiade. The 2015 Winter Universiade that brought together athletes from 43 countries will run till February 14.
