Kazakhstan delegation presented «EXPO-2017» Registration dossier in Paris
PARIS. October 16. KAZINFORM On October 15, Kazakhstan's delegation led by the Commissioner of the International specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017" - First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rapil Zhoshybayev joined session of the Executive Committee of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) in Paris, Kazinform refers to Kazakh MFA's press service.
The head of the Kazakhstan delegation briefed on the work that have been completed since the last meeting of the Board on May 7, 2013, and informed about the activities on foreign participation in the "EXPO-2017" and measures taken to implement the obligations of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the BIE, including to ensure the legal basis for the Exhibition organization.
The "EXPO-2017" Commissioner Rapil Zhoshybayev assured that Kazakhstan has been taking all necessary measures for a qualitative preparation and realization of the Exhibition.
Representatives of "Astana EXPO-2017" National Company presented the current developments, including the preparation status of the Registration dossier and its key sections: exhibition theme, master plan, communications plan, commercialization plan, financial plan and after Exhibition use.
At the end of the presentation, the Executive Committee gave a positive assessment for the preparations of the "EXPO-2017".
Approval of the Registration dossier, the official recognition of the EXPO-2017 and receiving the BIE flag will take place at the 155th General Assembly in June 2014.
