Kazakhstan counts on trade-economic, investment and innovation cooperation widening with Great Britain - N.Nazarbayev

ASTANA. April 29. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan counts on expansion of trade-economic, investment and innovation cooperation with Great Britain. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it in Akorda on Thursday, April 29.

"It is important to use potential of trade-economic, investment and innovation cooperation wider", N.Nazarbayev said.

The Head of the State emphasized hat Kazakhstan pays great significance to cooperation with Great Britain, which presently is the largest trade partner of Kazakhstan and ranks the fourth place on the volume of direct foreign investments in the Kazakh economy.

"I hope that after the upcoming parliamentary elections in Great Britain, formation of a new structure of the Government the Kazakh-British relations will receive a new impulse. Kazakhstan is interested in a high level of economic and political cooperation", the President said.

"I suggest that effective measures on widening and deepening of bilateral ties should be laid in an agenda of the next session of the Kazakh-British Trade-economic Council in London", the Head of the State resumed.

UK Ambassador David John Moran, in his turn, emphasized that Great Britain pays huge significance to relations with Kazakhstan and noted wide spectrum of bilateral ties between our states in the political, business, educational and military spheres.
