Kazakhstan Constitution proved its solvency - Mr. Rogov

ASTANA. June 21. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Constitution of Kazakhstan proved its solvency; its potential was not outspent. Chairman of Constitutional Council Igor Rogov said it presenting the annual message of the Council at the joint session of the Parliament's Chambers «On constitutional legitimacy in the Republic Kazakhstan» on Monday, June 21.

«Implementing its powers, the Constitutional Council considered around 180 claims, the majority of which had been received from the Chairpersons of the Parliament Chambers and groups of their deputies, courts, the Prime Minister, and also 8 petitions about additional interpretation of decisions of Constitutional Council on which more than 140 normative acts were adopted", Mr. Rogov said.

He marked that 25 laws and international agreements were acknowledged unconstitutional.
