Kazakhstan considers Germany a key partner in Europe and world - Akhmetov

BERLIN. October 25. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan considers Germany its key partner in Europe and in the world, Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov said at a meeting with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle.

"I attach special importance to my current visit to Germany, the country that has a growing influence on global political and economic processes. We consider Germany as a key partner of our country in Europe and the world. Relations between our countries in recent years have been developed dynamically," said Akhmetov.

The Prime Minister noted that the leaders of Kazakhstan and Germany set the tone of the development of partnership relations between the two countries. In particular, there is an intensive exchange of visits at the highest level. Political accord is a solid basis for strengthening and development of the Kazakh-German relations on the issues of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, fight against international terrorism, religious extremism and drug trafficking.
