Kazakhstan confidently advances itself into world political and economic arena - Dionisio García

The participants discussed the issues of the presidential elections that were held on April 3, the work of the Astana Economic Forum, prospects of further development of the Kazakhs-Spanish bilateral relations, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informs.

Spanish Senator Dionisio García Carnero noted the level of modernization and current religious tolerance in Kazakhstan. According to him, the overwhelming victory of N. Nazarbayev in presidential elections is understood because it is simply due the people of Kazakhstan give him for what he did. Kazakhstan has transformed into modern, democratic state which confidently advances itself into the world political and economic arena since gaining independence. 'Kazakhstan should be perceived as a phenomenon,' he emphasized.

Famous economist Ramon Tamames proposed to hold the presentation of opportunities Kazakhstan can provide for Spanish investors in this June in Madrid. The idea was supported by the members of the club.
