Kazakhstan condoles with Afghanistan over earthquake victims

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his deepest condolences to Afghanistan over numerous victims following a strong earthquake that struck the country late Sunday, Akorda reports.
The death toll from the powerful earthquake in eastern Afghanistan has climbed to 812, with more than 2,817 others injured, Xinhua cites Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Afghan interim government, as saying.
