Kazakhstan committed to green economy steady development course
TANA. September 23. KAZINFORM Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov met with heads of delegation arrived to take part in the VII "Environment for Europe" ministerial conference, the announcement on Facebook.com reads.
Jan Kubis, Under - Secretary-General, United Nations (UN), Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, environment ministers of the US, Switzerland, Czechia, Finland, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia and reps of international organizations, attended the meeting.
Addressing the conference the Kazakh PM said, Kazakhstan is committed to the to green economy steady development course. The same time no country could settle climate change problems alone, it requires joint efforts of international partners and organizations.
Those gathered debated "The green bride" partnership programme initiated by the Kazakh president. Its key goal is to assist the countries of Europe, Asia and pacific Region to promote green growth policies in favour of sustainable economic growth, development of environmental cooperation between the state, public, international organizations and business structures.
