Kazakhstan collects three medals at 2025 Asian Games in Harbin
President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gennady Golovkin met with the Kazakhstan’s national team participating in 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The head of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gennady Golovkin, and the Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabossynov congratulated the athletes on the first awards and wished them successful performance in the upcoming events.
Golovkin addressed the athletes, congratulating them on their achievements and acknowledging the significance of their success in reaching the podium. He recognized their hard work, patience, and dedication to their sport, emphasizing the responsibility they have taken on by competing in the Asian Games and representing their country at such a major sporting event. Recall that the ninth-edition of the Asian Winter Games will take place from February 7 to 14, 2025, in Harbin, China.
Earlier, Kazakhstan's short track team, speed skater Yevgeniy Koshkin, and skier Konstantin Bortsov pocketed silver medals in their respective events in Harbin.
