Kazakhstan clinches wrestling and judo gold at XV World Police and Fire Games in Belfast

ASTANA. August 8. KAZINFORM Kazakhstani policemen have grabbed two gold medals at the XV World Police and Fire Games in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Askar Zhandarov was a stunner in Men's 120 kg category in Greco-Roman Wrestling. After winning three bouts against his opponents from India, the U.S. and Norway, Zhandarov added gold to his collection at the event. The other day he won bronze in judo.

Talgat Kozhabayev from Kazakhstan also took gold in judo yesterday.

Kazakhstani boxers, including Abdusanat Sharafov in Men's 91 kg category, are expected to step into the arena in Belfast today. Nearly 20 thousand guests from 70 countries are cheering on the participants in the capital of Northern Ireland. The next World Police and Fire Games are set to be held in Washington, the U.S. in 2015.
