Kazakhstan, China possess huge potential for further strategic partnership development - Chinese MFA
BEIJING. June 4. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleymenov/ Kazakhstan and China possess huge potential for further development of strategic partnership, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Li Cheng Guoping said at the briefing in Beijing on Friday, June 4.
Strategic documents signed in recent year, like the Treaty of Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation between China and Kazakhstan, China-Kazakhstan Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership Establishment and Development and the Strategy of Cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in XXI century, as well as the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee set the best pattern of both countries good partnership relations.
Further, the Chinese diplomat noted that the parties were working closely within implementation of bilateral agreements in security, particularly in combating «three evil forces», including the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Party.
"In addition, Kazakhstan and China maintain close cooperation within the UN, the SCO, the CICA and other multilateral organizations which promote peace, stability and development of two countries and the entire region", the Chinese diplomat stressed.
Chairman of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on June 11-12 at the invitation of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. According to Chen Guoping both leaders will hold official negotiations to exchange views on a wide range of issues of bilateral relations, international and regional issues of mutual interest. Bilateral agreements in trade, economy and other spheres of cooperation are planned to be signed.
"This visit will contribute to further strengthening of mutual political trust and promotion of bilateral friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation", he concluded.
