Kazakhstan celebrates Constitution Day

On August 30, 1995 above 8 mln Kazakhstanis participated in the national referendum, about 90% of them voiced support to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the supreme national law. It established the principles of building independent, sovereign, economically liberal and democratic Kazakhstan.

This year Kazakhstanis will be given three days off on August 30-31, September 1. According to the law if a holiday falls on a non-working day then another day will also observed as the holiday.
