He noted that the OTS represents a market with a population of more than 170 million people, with strong industrial, transport, agricultural, and human potential. Amid global competition for investment and logistics flows, he noted that the importance of practical cooperation and joint projects is growing.

"Our objective today is to move from declarations to joint projects, to the creation of new industries, technological alliances, and mutual investments,” Zhumangarin stated.

He highlighted Kazakhstan’s consistent advocacy for deeper economic integration, industrial cooperation, joint agro-industrial projects, transport and logistics corridors, digital platforms, and e-commerce.

Particular attention, he said, is being given to the Turkic Investment Fund which is expected to serve as a key financial mechanism for supporting joint initiatives and financing projects in industry, infrastructure, agriculture, logistics, and digitalization.

Earlier, on the sidelines of the forum, Kazybek Shaikh, President of the National Association of Cooperatives and Other Economic Communities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stated that the OTS must strengthen its global competitiveness.
