Kazakhstan calls for constructive dialogue to resolve Egypt crisis
ASTANA. August 15. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan calls on the Egyptian interim government to establish political dialogue in the country, according to Nurzhan Aitmakhanov, the press secretary of the Kazakh Foreign Affairs Ministry.
"Kazakhstan has voiced concern about bloody clashes in Egypt, entailing multiple fatalities among population. Our country urges the interim government of Egypt to take measures to establish political dialogue in the country about how they can achieve civil peace and accord and move forward to democratic elections in Egypt," the press secretary told a press briefing in Astana on Thursday.
The official spokesman for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry also noted that Egypt is the key partner of Kazakhstan in the Arab world and in Africa.
