Kazakhstan braces for long, cold winter

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - As autumn season coming to an end, Kazakhstan braces for winter. And, according to national forecaster Kazhydromet, it is going to be long and cold, Kazinform has learnt from astana.kz.
The cold will take its grip of Kazakhstan in the third decade of November. Mercury will drop to -26°C. As for December, meteorologists predict that the 15th of December will be the coldest day of the month. Luckily, New Year will be celebrated in relatively warmer temperatures. January and February are believed to be the coldest months of the upcoming year as mercury will drop to -43°C at night and -30, -35°C at day time.
