Kazakhstan boasts huge investment potential: Hamad Buamim
ABU DHABI. May 31. KAZINFORM A large delegation of Dubai businessmen from the United Arab Emirates is set to visit Kazakhstan on 2-3 June.
More than 40 representatives of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Emaar (International and Commercial Real Estate Company), Flydubai, Al-Futtaim Group, Al Habtoor Group, ENOC (Emirates National Oil Company) and other companies are expected.
The UAE businessmen are planning to visit Astana and Almaty. In the Kazakh capital they will have talks with the Government of Kazakhstan and attend the special economic zone of Astana city. A session of the Kazakhstan-UAE Business Council will take place in Almaty afterwards.
Prior to the much anticipated visit, Hamad Buamim, Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry told Kazinform correspondent Chairman of the Chamber Abdul Rahman Al Ghurair is going to head the delegation. In his words, the upcoming visit will greatly contribute to the development of business contacts between the two countries.
According to Mr. Buamim, the cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE is especially dynamic in the field of real estate, finance and energy.
He also noted the visit to Kazakhstan will strengthen ties between the UAE and other CIS member countries. "Kazakhstan boasts huge investment potential and we will expand our cooperation in the public and private sectors," H. Buamim added.
