Kazakhstan, Belarus share stance on domestic and foreign policy: Nazarbayev
ASTANA. April 23. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mr Anatoly Rubinov today, president's press service reports.
At the meeting President Nazarbayev noted that each visit and each meeting between the representatives of Kazakhstan and Belarus bring the nations together.
"Kazakhstan and Belarus share common stance on many issues of domestic and foreign policy. We actively cooperate in the economic and political spheres, especially within the framework of the CIS, the CSTO, Common Economic Space and Customs Union. A joint meeting of presidents of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia is set to take place in late May this year. The CU leaders will discuss further economic integration," the Kazakh President stressed.
The Belarusian MP thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the meeting and pointed out that integration within the Eurasian space is of dynamic character.
"Both Belarusian and Kazakh parliaments play an important role in that process. We communicate in various formats. I believe that my visit to Astana will boost the interparliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan," A. Rubinov said.
