Kazakhstan-Belarus inter-parliamentary coop discussed in Astana

ANA. May 16. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Speaker of the Kazakh Majilis Ural Mukhamedzhanov has had a meeting with Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Anatoly Rubinov today.
According to the press service of the Lower Chamber, the parties discussed the prospects of further expansion of Kazakhstan-Belarus relations including the inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Kazakhstan is among three largest trade-economic partners of Belarus in the CIS. In 2010 mutual trade turnover between the two countries made USD 867.2 mln that is 2.2 times higher against 2009 index. Currently, there are 23 service centers of Belarusian enterprises, 80 joint ventures and six trade houses in Kazakhstan
