Kazakhstan applies for UN Security Council membership

CONAKRY. December 10. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan will do everything to draw UN's attention to Muslim Ummah, this has been voiced by RK Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrissov at the 40th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Guinea.
He noted that Kazakhstan has applied for membership in the UN Security Council for 2017-2018 years and will be grateful for the support of its candidacy.
"I assure you that Kazakhstan will do everything to draw UN's attention to our Ummah. We look forward to your brotherly support. We will act according to the tasks put during our chairmanship in the OIC. We will advocate for the continued implementation of the initiatives that are important for the whole Ummah", concluded the FM of Kazakhstan.
