Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan sign treaty on strategic partnership
TASHKENT. June 14. KAZINFORM Bilateral documents were signed during the official visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Kazakhstan, to Tashkent.
The presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Nursultan Nazarbayev and his counterpart Islam Karimov inked the Treaty on Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
In addition, the Protocol on the exchange of preliminary information on goods and means of transport crossing the customs border was signed by Vice Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Ruslan Dalenov and Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Zohid Dusanov.
Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed and Minhojiddin Hojimatov put their signatures on the Cooperation Program between the Culture and Information Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Culture and Sport Ministry of Uzbekistan in the sphere of culture for 2013-2015.
Internal Affairs ministers Kalmukhanbet Kassymov of Kazakhstan and Bahodyr Matlyubov of Uzbekistan also signed the agreement on cooperation.
