Kazakhstan and Ukraine to eye aviation, space cooperation

ASTANA. April 1. KAZINFORM The 11th session of the Kazakhstan-Ukrainian Interstate Commission for Economic Cooperation is set to take place on April 1-2 within the framework of Prime Minister Akhmetov's visit to Kiev.

Spokesman for the Central Communications Service Altai Abibullayev told Monday briefing in Astana.

First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development Bakhytzhan Sagintayev of Kazakhstan and First Vice Prime Minister Sergei Arbuzov of Ukraine are co-chairing the commission.

"The upcoming session is expected to focus on the key directions of bilateral economic cooperation, including fuel and energy sphere, agro-industrial complex, transport, aviation and space sectors," A. Abibullayev said.
