Kazakhstan and UAE sign intergovernmental agr't on struggle against crime

ASTANA. May 14. KAZINFORM The governments of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates signed an Agreement on cooperation in struggle against organized crime, illicit traffic in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, their precursors and analogues, terrorism and other types of crime within the fourth session of the Kazakh-Emirati Intergovernmental Commission for trade-economic cooperation on May 13.

On behalf of the Kazakh Government Vice Minister of Internal Affairs Amantai Aubakirov signed the Agreement; the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

The Agreement is the first legal document signed with the Emirati side which foresees cooperation in the sphere of struggle against crime.
