Kazakhstan and U.S. signed co-projects' implementation Memos
ASTANA. April 2. KAZINFORM Memorandums on realization of joint projects were signed during the visit of the Kazakh delegation headed by Vice Prime Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev to the Silicon Valley, the press service of National Agency for Export and Investment "Kaznex Invest" reports.
A road show to Silicon Valley, U.S., organized by «Kaznex Invest» of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies was held March 26-30.
At the end of a business trip the National Agency for Technological Development signed a memorandum with "Innovaro Inc." for a joint foresight research, promotion of innovative start-ups and technology transfer.
Another memorandum was signed with «Plug and Play» to launch the so-called commercialization reactor in Kazakhstan for the selection of the best innovative start-ups, mainly in the field of IT-technologies, which will continue to incubate in the Silicon Valley.
During the visit, the delegation took part in the Global Technology Symposium, a leading investment conference on venture capital, technology and entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
In general, more than 40 meetings with U.S. companies in the energy, IT technology, the production of electric vehicles, consumer electronics, energy saving were held during the business trip.
