Kazakhstan and U.S. set priorities of scientific-technical coop

ASTANA. June 25. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan and the United States have set three priorities of the bilateral scientific and technical cooperation," current U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs Dr. Kerri-Ann Jones said in the interview to mass media during the meeting of the Kazakh-American Joint Commission on scientific-technical cooperation in Astana.

"Our countries prioritized the biomedical research, including issues of infection diseases and chronical problems, "green chemistry", including environment security in the chemical industry and nature resources," Dr. Jones said.

"Today the first meeting will be held within the Kazakh-American scientific-technical cooperation. We will discuss strengthening of the scientific-technical cooperation," K. Jones added.
