Kazakhstan and Turkey expand helthcare cooperation

ISTANBUL. November 24. KAZINFORM - From 3 to 30 November in the framework of exchanging professional experience a team of Kazakh doctors is being trained in Turkey: 20 oncologists and radiologists. The trip was organized by the Agency for сooperation and coordination with the government of Turkey.

In the course of the internship the representatives of Kazakh medical institutions have the opportunity to learn from the experience of Turkey in the field of diagnosis, treatment, surgery and oncological diseases and trauma central hospitals in Ankara. The Kazakh delegation is getting acquainted with the work and staffing structure of hospitals, as well as modern techniques of treatment.

In Ankara the delegation met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev, during which the participants were informed about the current status of the Kazakh-Turkish relations, the implementation of joint projects in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. They have been provided books, magazines and brochures in the Turkish language, issued by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Turkey.

At the end of the internship the medical professionals will be awarded certificates of the Turkish Health Ministry and the Agency.
