Kazakhstan and Turkey agreed to jointly implement 19 projects totaling USD 800 mln
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan and Turkey reached an agreement to jointly implement 19 projects totaling USD 800 mln within the business forum held today in Astana.
"Presently, a new list of projects has been formed within the framework of the work on implementation of "New synergy" program. It included 25 business initiatives totaling more than 2.8 bln US dollars. The agreement on implementation of 19 projects amounted to over USD 800 million has been signed today, the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan informs.
These projects provide for construction of plants on production of aluminum radiators, window and door accessories, insulation materials, steel pipes, fibrous concrete and foam concrete and development of commercial and military shipbuilding, repair of ships and sea transportation.
Presently, Kazakhstan and Turkey develop cooperation within the framework of the new economic program called "New synergy" signed in 2012. This program activated joint work in trade and investment sphere, industry, agriculture, transport, logistics, tourism, etc.
400 delegates representing Kazakhstan and Turkey take part in the business forum held in Astana.
