Kazakhstan and the USA interested in developing interregional coop
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Yesterday, at the invitation of Congressman from Pennsylvania Joe Pitts Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United States of America Kairat Umarov paid a working visit to Lancaster County, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs.
During a meeting with D. Pitts, the parties have discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States. In particular, K.Umarov informed J.Pitts on the latest initiatives of the President to improve the investment climate in Kazakhstan. Given the active role of the congressman in the area of freedom of religion, Joe Pitts was invited to the V Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana in 2015. Kazakh delegation visited "Sikorsky" helicopter manufacturing plant, and held a meeting with the Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Carolyn Vandedrinck. The company expressed its interest to participate in the international exhibition "EXPO-2017".
