Kazakhstan and South Korea sign agr'ts amounting to USD 8 bln
TANA. August 25. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Today following results of a meeting of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak there has been signed a number of documents.
They are the Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of South Korea in the field of development of financing of construction, exploitation and maintenance works of the Balkhash Thermal Power Plant, Memorandum on financing of the second stage of construction of a gas chemical complex in Atyrau region, Agreement on creation of joint venture for implementation of the second stage of construction of a gas chemical complex in Atyrau region as well as Agreement on creation of the Koran-Kazakh center on technologic cooperation.
The total amount of the signed agreements makes more than USD 8 bln.
