Kazakhstan and Russia sign agr't on building NPP

ATYRAU. KAZINFORM - In Atyrau in the framework of the XI Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan a number of agreements and treaties have been signed.
The first agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the construction and operation of a nuclear power plant on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The treaty was signed by Director of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom" Sergey Kiriyenko and Energy Minister Vladimir Shkolnik.
