Kazakhstan and Russia plan to create innovative gas & chemical cluster in Orenburg rgn
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan and Russia are planning to create an innovative gas and chemical cluster on the basis of Orenburg gas processing complex, this has been announced today at the XI Forum of interregional cooperation between the two countries by the Governor of the Orenburg region of Russia Yuri Berg.
"The concept of cluster's development envisages an increase in the supply of gas from Karachaganak field, improve the quality of cleaning liquefied gases to meet European standards, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies for efficient processing of associated petroleum gas," said the head of the region. According to him, the project aims at encouraging utilization of associated petroleum gas to produce high value added products.
