Kazakhstan and Malaysia develop inter-party cooperation
KUALA LUMPUR. December 6. KAZINFORM On December 4, Kazakhstan delegation led by Yeldar Syzdykov, Secretary of the "NurOtan" party, met with Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan bin Tengku Mansor, Secretary General of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO), in Kuala Lumpur on the sidelines of the UMNO General Assembly and International Forum "The politics of moderation accommodates and balances competing principles that leads to peace and stability", Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh MFA's press service.
During the meeting they discussed the development and perspectives of the bilateral political, trade and economic cooperation.
The Kazakhstan delegate briefed his counterpartner on the basic provisions of the recently adopted new Doctrine of the "NurOtan" party, about key points of the "Kazakhstan 2050" Strategy and international initiatives of the country.
Malaysian politician highly evaluated the dynamics of the political dialogue between the two countries, including at the highest level, and noted the impressive socio-economic and foreign policy successes Kazakhstan has achieved since its independence.
They also shared their views on development prospects of the inter-party cooperation. Yeldar Syzdykov invited the UMNO leaders to visit Kazakhstan in 2014.
