As the Russian Leader noted, the negotiations with the European side focused on the results of the OSCE Summit. "I can say that this Summit required huge organizational work. In whole, that was a very useful event. However, we should admit that the Summit revealed all defects of the OSCE and its helplessness in adoption of decisions", D. Medvedev said.

In this view, the common objective of all OSCE member states is to fill the Organization with new potential and new content. "Probably, we should abandon the old stereotypes which are sometimes used by this Organization. We would like to move our cooperation in the directions we have agreed on, for example, as the initiative of Russia and Germany on launch of Russia-EU Committee which will concentrate its efforts on foreign policy and security on appropriate ministerial level", the Russian President added.

Besides, as D. Medvedev informed, the talks focused also on regulation of the Transnistrian and Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts. "We will continue discussing these problems in a trustful and frank manner. I hope this will allow us to approach to solution of these problems and reach a number of agreements", he stressed.
