Kazakhstan and Iran to ink agreements worth $ 500 mln
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today Kazakhstan and Iran will sign agreements worth USD 500 million.
According to the press release of the Ministry of Investment and Development, in the framework of the Kazakh-Iranian business forum it is planned to sign several bilateral documents including agreements in the field of geology, metallurgy, agriculture, transport, logistics, tourism and manufacturing of building materials totaling over USD 500 million. In particular, the agreements will be signed on the construction of a hydrometallurgical plant; on cooperation in copper deposits' development; on building grain terminal in Golestan province, as well as a memorandum of understanding on the production of travertine. Note that the business forum has being attended by about 250 delegates including representatives from more than 100 Kazakhstani and 100 Iranian companies.
