Kazakhstan and India to adopt Road Map on strategic partnership development
ASTANA. April 16. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan and India will adopt a Road Map on development of strategic partnership. President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced about it during the talks with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"We have considered a wide array of topics regarding our cooperation. To implement them we have decided to adopt a Road Map on development of strategic cooperation. Analogous document of strategic partnership was signed during my visit to Delhi in 2009," Nazarbayev said.
During the talks in narrow format the parties exchanged opinions on the issues of interstate relations and noted that Kazakhstan and India successfully overcame the financial crisis.
The Kazakh President noted that the economic growth of the two states stimulated bilateral trade, which increased to USD 370 million.
