Kazakhstan and France to develop double degree programs for judges
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Executives of the French National School for the Judiciary (Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature or ENM) have paid a working visit today to the Public Administration Academy under the President of Kazakhstan, the academy's press service said.
The delegation led by head of the ENM International Department Isabelle Poinso got familiarized with the academy's teaching and guiding, its material and technical base, met with the academy's Justice Institution teaching staff. As part of their trip, the members of the delegation had talks with Rector B. Abdrasilov. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan F. Etienne joined the talks. The parties focused on development of cooperation between the academy and ENM, development of joint double degree programs and frame for further cooperation with French higher institutions. At the end of the meeting the parties signed a memo of understanding between the two organizations in an effort to deepen cooperation in training of judges, draft joint programmes for training judiciary establishment, hold trainings and share research results.
