Kazakhstan and Czech Republic to boost coop in healthcare
ASTANA. November 30. KAZINFORM An agreement on activation of bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sphere was achieved at a meeting of Healthcare Minister of Kazakhstan Salidat Kairbekova and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Bedrich Kopecky held in Astana on Thursday, the press service of the Ministry informed.
The Czech side was also represented by President of PURO-KLIMA Czech company Jaromír Ferbr and the director of the export department of the company.
The sides agreed to activate bilateral cooperation by means of organizing and holding master classes in Kazakhstan, professional development of medical personnel, application of achievements of the Czech medicine in cardiac surgery, cardiology, roentgenology, the Ministry reported.
Representatives of the Czech delegation told that their company designed the construction of a regional clinic in Aktau, which was expected to be complete in late 2013. They also expressed their interest in construction of a rehabilitation center on the sea in Aktau, the Kazakh PM's official website reads.
The Kazakh Minister supported the proposal of the Czech colleagues noting that the Healthcare Ministry of Kazakhstan was interested in development of Shchuchinsk-Borovoye resort area.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed interest in signing a memo of cooperation.
