Kazakhstan and China to consider expansion of national currency use

BEIJING. May 30. KAZINFORM Expansion of Kazakhstan and China's national currencies use for bilateral settlements will be discussed in China.

"The eighth session of the Kazakh-Chinese Sub-Committee for Finance Cooperation is scheduled for today in Guilin -prefecture-level city in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China," head of the representative office of the Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan in China said in interview to Kazinform correspondent.

The sides will consider Issues on creation of conditions for the expansion of use of national currencies in trade sphere, and cooperation in the Khorgos International Center for Cross-Border Cooperation.

The meeting will focus on the development of cooperation between the Kazakh and Chinese banks, payment systems and expansion of cooperation in the use of bank cards. Cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the field of insurance business regulation will also be touched upon.

The Kazakh delegation is headed by the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Co-Chair of the Kazakh part of the subcommittee Bisengali Tadzhiyakov.
