Kazakhstan and China strengthen coop in customs sphere

BEIJING. April 16. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ The Subcommission for cooperation between checkpoints and customs of the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee has held the fifth session in Shanghai on April 15.
Following the results of the meeting the sides signed a Protocol, according to which there was reached an agreement on implementation of the regime of single working time, improvement of infrastructure of checkpoints and effectiveness increase in customs procedures clearance.
Over the first three months of 2010 the volume of bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and China made up USD 4.16 bln.
The Kazakh delegation was headed by Chairman of the Customs Committee of the Ministry of Finance Kozy-Korpesh Karbuzov.
