Kazakhstan and China developing co-op in clean energy
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Astana has held a seminar on clean energy development in the framework of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.
The event was organized by "China General Nuclear Power Group" corporation. Speakers of the seminars reported on China's nuclear power industry development, reactor technologies, security systems, nuclear fuel engineering capabilities for the construction of energy facilities of the CGN GROUP, as well as on the development of wind and solar energy, the statement reads. It is worth noting that the seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy, JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund", JSC "Kazatomprom", JSC "Samruk-Energo", JSC "KEGOC", LLP "Kazatomprom-Demeu", RSE "National Nuclear Center", RSE "Institute of Nuclear Physics", associations of "Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan" as well as the Eurasian National University named after N.Gumilyov.
