Kazakhstan agrees on joint production of satellites with Mongolia, Congo

Kazakhstan concluded agreements on joint production of satellites with Mongolia and Congo, Kazinform News Agency has learned from the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry.

“Since 2024, JSC NC Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary has been negotiating the issue of export of home-produced satellites with various countries. So far, agreements have been concluded with Mongolia and Congo on joint creation of satellites. These countries expressed interest in using Kazakhstan’s Earth remote sensing technologies in such key areas as agriculture, ecology and natural resources monitoring,” the Ministry says in a reply to an official request from Kazinform.

Earlier, Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev informed about the talks held between the countries on the export of satellites. Guinea-Bissau may be among the countries showing interest in Kazakhstani satellites, he said.
