Kazakhstan addresses many international problems that enhances OSCE role in world: Romanian Ambassador

ASTANA. June 24. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Ambassador of Romania in Kazakhstan Emil Rapcha at his request.

The interlocutors complimented the dynamic development of multilateral Kazakh-Romanian cooperation and mutual interest in its strengthening, the press service of the House reports.

Concerning the interparliamentary contacts, K.Tokayev noted that the activity of the group of interparliamentary cooperation consisting of the deputies of both countries should be the basis for it. He invited Speaker of the Romanian Senate Mircea Geoana to pay official visit to Kazakhstan. K.Tokayev also recommended the representatives of the Romanian business community to take part in the III Astana Economic Forum.

The Speaker informed the Ambassador on the activity of Kazakhstan connected with the OSCE Chairmanship, holding of the Trans-Asian Parliamentary Forum and measures on economic and political stabilization of Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The Romanian Ambassador has noted that his country fully supports the activity of Kazakhstan as the OSCE chairman and highly appraised the Kazakh initiatives on holding of the OSCE Summit and development of the program of economic recovery of Kyrgyzstan.
