Kazakhs from all over the world gather for international festival of arts in Astana

The event brought together delegates from 18 countries in Kazakhstan's capital, Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Marat Azilkhanov said. "This is the third time the festival is held and this year nearly 80 delegates from 18 countries have gathered to participate in it," Vice Minister Azilkhanov noted. The festival held at the Kazakh National University of Arts is aimed at deepening spiritual and cultural ties between Kazakh diasporas abroad. Analogous events were held in France and Mongolia last year and in Germany this year. Denmark and Uzbekistan played hosts to the kurultai in 2012. The festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
