Kazakh youth partake in the SCO Youth Innovation Forum

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Ufa, Bashkortostan, has hosted the SCO Youth Innovation Forum.

According to the press service of the Kazakh National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the forum's participants presented their innovation projects in the foyer of the Congress Hall, where the exhibition of innovation solutions from six different fields (nanosystems, agriculture, energy, environmental management, information technology and breakthrough technologies in medicine) was held. Kazakhstani Vladimir Talanov became a winner in "Nanosystems" direction ("Best Innovative Product" nomination). Zarina Gazizova from Russia and Nurbek Sydykuulu from Kyrgyzstan also became the winners in this direction. In the direction of "Agriculture" Kazakhstani Artem Sled won an award for the "Best Innovative Product". He presented the jury the technology to obtain the drug against the Colorado potato beetle. Amanbek Altybay from Kyrgyzstan and Tatyana Prikhodko from Russia were awarded too. According to the director of "Atameken startup" project Nurlan Tazabekov, the forum has joined prominent representatives of the startup sphere, venture capitalists, business incubators, and start-up coaches from around the world. The roundtable discussion on the subject "Prospects for SCO Innovation Cooperation" took place right after the opening part. Denis Gusev, Director of the Convergus Project Oriented Educational Technologies Center led the discussion. The all-Russian public organization "Russian Union of Youth", the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Government of Bashkortostan Republic were the organizers of the Youth Innovation Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
