Kazakh wrestler wins gold in Slovakia

Fidakhmetov hauled wrestling gold in -54kg category. On his way to the pedestal, the Kazakh wrester outclassed opponents from Kyrgyzstan, Czech Republic, Russia, and Serbia. In the final bout, Fidakhmetov beat European champion Edgar Tamazyan from Armenia 4:2. Fidakhmetov won gold at the Asian Wrestling Championship in Thailand this year as well. The FILA Cadet World Championships in Snina, Slovakia is set to be held until July 20.
