Kazakh wrestler stuns Asian Championship with gold

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani freestyle wrestler Rassul Kaliyev has collected gold in men's 57kg category at the Asian Wrestling Championship in Astana, the press service of the Kazakh Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Women's Wrestling Federation informs.
In the final Kaliyev downed more experienced athlete Damdinbazar Tsogtbakhtkhr from Mongolia who won silver. After the bout the Kazakh wrestler thanked his fans for their support. Samat Nadyrbek-ulu from Kyrgyzstan and Fumitaka Morishita from Japan shared bronze. The Asian Wrestling Championship is set to be held in Astana through April 27.
