Kazakh-Vietnam Business Council to intensify trade-economic links - Issekeshev

NOI. October 31. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Kazakhstan is actively implementing the presidential program on accelerated industrial innovative development. In this regard, Kazakhstan is interested in cooperation with Southeast Asian countries, particularly Vietnam, Kazakh Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev told the Business Forum on Monday in Hanoi.

According to him, "the forum will be a useful dialogue platform for the representatives of the Vietnamese and Kazakh business community and will open new horizons for cooperation between our countries."

Kazakhstan and Vietnam have a common ground for further cooperation. The Minister named several industries for potential contacts - oil and gas, mining and metallurgy, engineering, manufacturing, agro-industrial complex, transport.

"We are interested in establishing joint ventures producing consumer goods on the territory of Kazakhstan. We are ready to consider the opportunity of exporting Kazakhstan's grain to Vietnam," Issekeshev noted. He also informed of the plans to open direct flight from Kazakhstan to Vietnam.

"The new business council between our countries will serve as the basis for intensifying trade-economic cooperation," Issekeshev emphasized.
