Kazakh Vice PM: Nazarbayev University - important initiative for establishing innovative system in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. October 6. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Important initiative for establishing a new innovative system of Kazakhstan is the Nazarbayev University. Vice Prime Minister Yerbol Orynbayev has said at the symposium on technology commercialization in Astana today.
According to Mr. Orynbayev, the new university will become one of the leading universities in Eurasian region and contribute to the development of competitive human capital and scientific potential of the country.
"World class universities are usually known for their scientific research in various fields of science. The Nazarbayev University should become a research-oriented university hosting three research centers: "Science of Life", "Energy Research" and "Interdisciplinary Engineering Center", the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
